Event Details
Humans have a long history of dyeing fabrics using plants. Nearly all parts of a plant may be used including roots, leaves, stems, and flowers, each imbuing fabrics with different colors and textures.
Join us in this hands-on event as we explore dyes made from local plants and from kitchen produce. We provide paper, cotton fabrics, and yarn (some are pre-mordanted). So relax and experiment to find the colors you like best for quilting, knitting, and painting.
