For many of us, myth evokes thoughts of Zeus, Hercules, Thor, and other larger-than-life characters whose tales were passed down from antiquity. But the world is very different from that of the ancient Romans, Greeks, and the Norse. Did mythology and new heroes, villains, and undying stories cease to develop with the passing of these civilizations?
During this program, we will learn to recognize the defining features of a myth and hunt for modern mythology among some of today’s most popular movies and literature. Zoom option available.
