Certified Therapy dogs at North Valley Public Library, here to listen to your child's favorite book from home or one from our shelves. Great for early readers or kids who just love dogs. All canines are certified, constantly accompanied by their Pet Partner handlers and ready to listen.
Pet Partners is continuing their visits to North Valley Public Library in March and April! We're now offering a Monday afternoon option as well as a Wednesday late morning option on alternate weeks in the hopes to accommodate our school aged kiddos as well as the preschool crowd. Of course all young patrons are invited to meet a certified therapy dog or 2 or 3 and have the opportunity to read to these trained canine companions. Join us in this opportunity for an eager audience to practice a paragraph or page from your favorite book. Books will be available but kiddos are encouraged to bring whatever they are currently reading.
