Purpose of Meeting
North Valley Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit, which raises money to support the library and its programs. The foundation board meets once each month. They host various fundraising events throughout the year. These include our Birdies for Books golf tournament each summer, Business Battle for Books winter fundraiser, and Brews for Books pint nights at local breweries. Board members also participate in community events such as Stevensville's Scarecrow Festival (fall), Country Christmas (winter), Western Heritage Days and Creamery Picnic (both summer), and a regional nonprofit fair (spring).
There are no residency requirements to serve on the NVPL Foundation board, but members must be able to attend board meetings the first week of the of each month (either virtually via Zoom or at the Stevensville library).
