Put your idea of a book club in a blender and give it a whirl. Discuss books both old and new while enjoying a beverage you bring, including alcoholic if you’re 21+ and feel so inclined, and share recommendations. Get ready to brag about your favorite reads and jot down all the intriguing titles and authors you’ll hear about from others.
Unlike traditional book clubs in which everyone reads the same book, we choose a genre or theme each month then YOU choose your own title to read and discuss. Plus, no more cramming to finish or memorizing a book report, simply give your new literary friends an idea of your chosen book’s plot, characters, themes, and explain whether you’d recommend the book or not. If you’ve ever wanted to wander the Library after-hours and peruse with like-minded readers while sipping a beverage, now is your chance.
In recognition of Native American Heritage month, November’s theme is a book written by a Native American author. Any and all books and readers welcome, however.
